The FADE START/STOP button on the wireless controller lets you begin
and end recording with a smooth fade in and fade out.
Place camera in record pause mode.

/STOP
Press FADE START/STOP button.
Scene immediately disappears, camera recording begins within 1—2
seconds, and then picture gradually fades in.

When scene is recorded, press FADE START/STOP button
again.
Scene gradually fades out, then camera enters record pause mode in about
5 seconds.
Notes:
• Sound fades along with the image.
• Character and digital titles, date and time do not fade.
• Fade effects (except fade start/stop) can be used at any time during recording.
