STEADYSHOT*
• Normally select ON.
• Select OFF when you do not have to worry
about camera-shake.
Items for VTR mode only
EDIT
• Select ON to minimize picture deterioration
when editing.
• Normally select OFF.
HiFi SOUND
• Normally seicct STEREO.
•Select 1 or 2 to play back a dual soundtrack
tape.
TBC*
• Normally select ON, to correct for jitter.
• Select OFF to not correct for jitter. The picture
may not be steady when played back.
Note on TBC setting
Set TBC to OFF when playing back
• A tape recorded when the camcorder was
shaking.
• A tape on which you recorded a low quality TV
signal.
• A tape you have dubbed over.
• A tape on which you recorded the signal of a
TV game or similar machine.
DNR*
• Normally select ON to reduce picture noise.
• Select OFF if the picture has a lot of movement,
causing a conspicuous afterimage.
• These settings are retained even when the
battery is removed, as long as the vanadium-
lithium battery is charged. As far as the items
without an asterisk are concerned, their settings
return to the default 5 minutes or more after the
battery is removed.

• Normalmente se selecciona ON para corregir
vibraciones.
• Seleccione OFF para no corregir vibraciones. Es
posible que la imagen sea inestable al
reproducirla.
Nota sobre el ajuste TBC
Ajuste TBC en OFF cuando reproduzca
• Cintas grabadas con vibraciones de la
videocámara.
• Cintas en que se ha grabado una señal de
televisión de baja calidad.
• Cintas copiadas.
• Cintas en que se ha grabado la señal de un
juego de televisión o máquina similar.
DNR*
• Normalmente se selecciona ON para reducir los
ruidos de imagen.
• Seleccione OFF si la imagen tiene mucho
movimiento y produce imágenes secundarias
visibles.
• Estos ajustes se conservan si se extrae la pila,
siempre c]ue la pila de vanadio-litio esté
cargada. Con respecto a los elementos que no
llevan asterisco, recuperan los ajustes por
omisión transcurridos 5 minutos o más después
de retirar la batería.
