Changing the mode settings

LCD B.L.*
• Normally select BRT NORMAL.
• Select BRIGHT when the LCD screen is dark.
When you select BRIGHT, battery life is about 10
percent shorter during recording.
When you use the power sources other than the
battery pack, BRIGHT is automatically selected,
and LCD B.L. is not displayed in the menu.
Items for CAMERA mode only
W IND
•Select ON to reduce wind noise when recording
in strong wind.
• Normally select OFF.
D ZOOM*
• Select ON to activate digital zooming.
• Select OFF not to use the digital zoom. The
camcorder goes back to lOx optical z.oom.
REC LAMP*
•Select OFF when you do not want the camera
recording/battery lamp at the front of the unit
to light up.
• Normally select ON.
W hen recording a close subject
When REC LAMP is set to ON, the red camera
recording lamp on the front of the camcorder
may reflect on the subject if it is close. In this
case, we recommend you set REC LAMP to OFF.
CLOCK SET*
Select this item to reset the date or time.
ORC TO SET*
Select this item to automatically adjust the
recording condition of the tape to get the best
possible recording.
If you have already performed this function,
"ORC ON" is displayed.
TITLE COL*
CYAN/GREEN/BLUE>
Select the color of the title.
TITLE POS*
•Select CENTER to center the title in the picture.
• Select BOTTOM to position the title at the
bottom of the picture.

LCD B.L.*
• Normalmente se selecciona BRT NORMAL.
• Seleccione BRIGHT cuando la pantalla LCD
esté oscura.
Cuando se selecciona BRIGHT, la duración de la
batería es un 10 por ciento más corta durante la
grabación.
Cuando se utilizan fuentes de alimentación
diferentes del paquete de baterías, BRIGHT se
selecciona automáticamente y LCD B.L. no
aparece en el menú.
Elementos sólo para modo CAMERA
WIND
• Seleccione ON para reducir el ruido de viento
al grabar con viento fuerte.
• Normalmente se selecciona OFE.
D ZOOM*
• Seleccione ON para activar el zoom digital.
• Seleccione OFF para no usar el zoom digital. La
videocámara vuelve al zoom óptico de lOx.
REC LAMP*
•Seleccione OFF cuando no desee que se ilumine
el indicador de grabación/batería situado en la
parte trontal de la unidad.
• Normalmente se selecciona ON.
Cuando se graba un sujeto cercano
Cuando REC LAMP está ajustado en ON, es
posible que el indicador rojo de grabación con la
cámara situado en la parte frontal de la
videocámara se refleje en el sujeto si éste está
cerca. En tal caso, se recomienda ajustar REC
LAMP en OFF.
CLOCK SET*
Seleccione este elemento para reajustar la fecha o
la hora.
ORC TO SET*
Seleccione este elemento para ajustar
automáticamente la condición de grabación de la
cinta y obtener la mejor grabación posible.
Si va ha utilizado esta función, aparecerá "ORC
OÑ".
TITLE COL*
CYAN/GREEN/BLUE>
Seleccione el color del título.
TITLE POS*
• Seleccione CENTER para centrar el título en la
imagen.
• Seleccione BOTTOM para situar el titulo en la
parle inferior de la imagen.
