Please note that the term “printing area” represents both the recommended area
for optimum print quality and the entire area where the machine can technically
print.
• The printing area is shown by light shading. Canon recommends that you print
within this area.
• The printing area is 0.20" (5 mm) inside from all four edges of the paper when using
this machine as a printer. (For envelopes, the printing area is 0.40" (10 mm) from all
four edges of the envelopes.)
