Removing Jammed Paper from the Stack Bypass
When print media jams in the stack bypass, the LCD displays the messages

Gently remove the jammed paper from the stack bypass.
• Be sure to check for any jammed paper inside the machine. (See “Removing
Jammed Paper from Inside the Main Unit,” starting on p. 6-2.)
• If the LCD continues displaying the error message, slide the platen unit to the
left and then slide it back to the original position, or open and close the toner
supply cover.
