Bulb Exposures
When bulb is set, the shutter is open during the time you keep pressing the shutter button fully.
Bulb is useful when a long exposure is necessary for capturing night scenes, fireworks, the
night sky, etc.
Set the Mode Dial to <

Look at the LCD panel and turn the <

Set the aperture.

> dial to set the desired aperture.

Shoot.

Press and hold the shutter button down fully.

The LCD panel will show the elapsed exposure time
from 1 sec. to a maximum of 999 sec.

Exposure continues as long as you hold down the
shutter button.

Since bulb exposures will have more noise than usual, the image will look rough or
grainy.
With a fully-charged battery, a single bulb exposure can be as long as about 2.5 hours.
By connecting Remote Switch RS-80N3 or Timer Remote Controller TC-80N3 (both
optional) to the camera’s remote control terminal, you need not keep pressing the
shutter button with your finger during bulb exposures. (
