Setting the Date and Time
Set the date and time as shown below. The date and time are recorded with the image file for
each captured image.
On the menu, select [Date/Time].
•
Press the <
> button.
•
Turn the <
> dial to select [Date/Time], then
press <
>.

The Date/Time setting screen will appear.

Set the date and time.
•
Turn the <
> dial to set the item, then press
<
>.
•
The selection will then shift to the next item.

Set the date display format.
•
Turn the <
> dial to select one of the following
display formats:
Year, month, day
Month, day, year
Day, month, year

Press the <
> button.

The date and time will be set and the menu will
reappear.
•
Press the <
> button to turn off the LCD monitor
and exit the menu.

Each captured image is recorded with the date and time it was taken. If the date and
time are not set, they cannot be recorded correctly. Make sure you set the date and time
correctly.
