53. Remove two knee bolster screws using a Phillips
screwdriver and remove knee bolster. (Figure 42)

54. Remove the light gray C11 or X11 Connector or
gray C10 or X10 Connector from the M-BEC
(Figure 38) located in the bolster stud by pulling it
out with your fingers. (Figure 40)
55. Splice green Reverse (+) wire from the supplied
Chassis Harness to the wire in M-BEC C11 or X11
light gray connector Cavity 5 or to the wire in M-
BEC C10 or X10 gray connector Cavity 8.

56. Remove brown C12 or X12 Connector (Figure 43)
from the M-BEC connector (Figures 38 and 39)
located in the bolster stud by pulling it out with your
fingers.

57. Splice red or pink Ignition (+) wire from the supplied
Chassis Harness to the wire in brown M-BEC
Connector C12 or X12 Cavity 7. (Figure 41)
58. Re-insert both connectors back into M-BEC. (Figure
38). Proceed to Step 60.
59. If all M-BEC connections are secure and no
fuses are blown and reverse still is not
present, reverse must be located in the under dash
BCM left of the steering wheel. (Figure 38)
A. Connect green Reverse (+) wire of supplied
Chassis Harness to wire in brown BCM X5 Connector
Cavity 7. (Figure 44)

B. Connect pink or red ignition (+) wire of supplied
Chassis Harness to wire in brown BCM X5 Connector
Cavity 13. (Figure 44)
60. Connect the Ground eyelet of the black wire from
the supplied Chassis Harness to a solid ground on
the vehicle chassis. The stud in the knee bolster is
recommended.
61. Connect male RCA plug from the supplied Chassis
Harness to the camera IN on the aftermarket
display/ Navigation display. In some cases a RCA
extension may be required. (Kit# 6111 can be
purchased at Brandmotion for these cases.)
Reinstall Vehicle Trim
& Secure Harnesses
62. Reinstall wiper motor to the liftgate using the
existing nuts, a 10mm open-end wrench, and flat
blade screwdriver and then reconnect wiper motor
wiring harness.
63. Reinstall wiper motor exterior nut using a 28mm
socket.
64. Reinstall rear wiper with the existing nut using a
10mm socket and connect washer fluid line.
65. Connect supplied Camera Harness to supplied
Chassis Harness. (Figure 45)
