Heat Dissipation
The efficiency of the frequency converter is a function of switching frequency,
operating frequency and load. Based on this information, heat dissipation can be
calculated at a certain operating point. For most cases the following general
formula based on frequency converter load can be used to estimate the heat
dissipation of the power structure:
