6.4
Settings for the measurements
6.4.1
Setting setpoints
By setting a setpoint, you decide what quantity of gas lost should be tolerated with a test
object.
You can set two setpoints on the device. You can use setpoint 1 to, for example, find "very
good" test objects and setpoint 2 displays up to what value the test object is "still okay."
You can only use setpoint 2 when the function for the sniffer line key is set to “Setpoint” in
the settings,
see "6.4.2 Setting up the sniffer probe", page 41

To set setpoints, select
"
> Setpoints > Leakage Rate Setpoint 1" or "
> Setpoints > Leakage Rate
Setpoint 2".

Setting up the sniffer probe
Probe key configuration
You can change between both setpoints via the key on the sniffer probe. This function can
be switched either on or off: "Setpoint" or "Off".

Light brightness
You can adjust the general brightness of the light of the sniffer probe in several steps.
Light
Alarm configuration
Light when exceeding the setpoint. There are 3 options regarding the settings: Off, Bright-
er, Flashing.

To set up the key function and light on the sniffer probe, select "
> Set Up > Sniffer
Line".

Setting up an alarm profile for setpoints
You can set up how you are acoustically made aware of measurement results during mea-
surements.
