Email Generation

You can specify a maximum of 5 different email addresses that you wish to have
these alerts sent to. If you require the alerts to be sent to any more addresses
than this, we recommend that you set up a group mailing address and then enter
it into Web Content tab.

To set up email alerts:

1.

Click the “Filtering” link.

2.

Click the “Email Alerts” link in the left hand column. This will bring up the
“Email Alerts” page.

Select whether or not you want to be notified when a web page is blocked by
selecting “Yes” or “No” from the drop down box.

4.

Enter the email address (or addresses) you want notifications to be sent to in
the empty text fields provided.

If you wish to throttle the amount of email alerts you receive, click in the box
next to the statement “Limit these alerts to”. Throttling will now be activated
and you must then select the number of alerts you wish to receive, per the
amount of hours you specify. For example you might decide that you only ever
want to get a maximum of 3 email alerts in a 2-hour period.

Once you are happy with the Email Alert details you have entered, click the
“Save” button located at the bottom of the screen.
