2 Press and hold down the Power key on the keyboard for about 2 seconds.
The following dialog box appears on the screen:
3 Press the Return key on the keyboard, or click the Shut Down button in the dialog box.
4 Turn off the monitor.
Using the Shut Down command
You can also turn your computer off by using the Shut Down command in the
Special menu. Follow these steps:
1 If the computer is in sleep mode, press the Power key or any key on the keyboard except
Caps Lock to wake it.
2 Move the tip of the arrow to the word “Special” at the top center of the screen.
