3. HARDWARE MODE
Powering up the CDB8422 without a USB connection to a PC operates the evaluation board in hardware mode. In
this mode, on-board DIP switches allow the user to configure the CDB8422 without the use of a PC and GUI. How-
ever, only a subset of configuration options are available in hardware mode.
3.1
