3. To change the port configuration, highlight an option and press
RETURN.
For example:

Select
Full duplex
and press RETURN. The switch displays
the Port Configuration with Auto-negotiate disabled, as
shown below.
Note
Very poor communications result when duplex settings on the switch
and the device do not match.
If the attached device is auto-negotiating, set the switch port to
auto-negotiate.
If the device does not support auto-negotiating, set the switch port to
the correct speed and duplex for the device.

To define or change the port name, highlight
Port name
and
press
RETURN
to display the menu.
The first option is highlighted. Type-in fields are preceded
with the -> symbol.
