Target A storage device that responds to an initiator device.

WWN World Wide Name
XPAK A transceiver device that plugs into the Fibre Channel port that enables 10 Gb/s or 20 Gb/s

Zone A set of ports or devices grouped together to control the exchange of information.
Zoneset A set of zones grouped together. The active zoneset defines the zoning for a fabric.
Zoning database The set of zonesets, zones, and aliases stored on a switch.
