The total number of expired virtual volumes.

The total number of unexported virtual volumes.

State

Select the device type, Fast Class (FC), Near Line (NL), or
Solid State Device (SSD). The capacity and capacity usage
of the selected device type is displayed in graphical form.

Capacity

Displays the allocation of admin, copy, and user space.

Virtual Volume
Allocation

Displays the amount of space saved through thinly provisioned virtual volumes.

Viewing the Virtual Volumes Tab

To view the Virtual Volumes tab:
1.

Navigate to the Virtual Volumes screen.

2.

In the Management Window, click the Virtual Volumes tab.

The Virtual Volumes tab displays information in a list pane and a detail pane.

List Pane

The table in the list pane can be filtered to display Summary, Allocation, Capacity, Raw Capacity,
History, Remote Copy and Space History information.

Displaying Summary Information

To view summary information, select Summary from the filtering list.

The following information is provided:

Description

Column

The volume name. Volume tree depth in parenthesis.

Name

The domain to which the virtual volume belongs.

Domain

The name of the virtual volume set containing the volume.

Set

The state of the system. See

“System and Component Status Icons” (page 507)

.

State

Indicates if the volume is a base volume, physical copy, or virtual copy.

Type

Indicates if the volume is fully (Full) or thinly provisioned (TPVV).

Provisioning

The volume's RAID type.
