Backing up concurrently at both local and remote sites
The following subsections give an example of backing up both the local site and the remote site
concurrently.
Operation at the local site
Execute VSS backup to back up data concurrently to the secondary volumes at both the local and
remote sites.
Execute the
drmexgbackup
command on database server A:
An unused backup ID is assigned to each server. For this example, we assume

as the
backup ID at the local site, and

as the backup ID at the remote site.
