Verifying your hardware
Your print server might not work if the printer, print server, or
connections are not functioning properly.
The printer
You can print a printer configuration page to verify that the printer
is printing correctly. See
Printing a configuration page for
instructions. See Troubleshooting the printer for more
information about interpreting the printer configuration page and
diagnosing and correcting printer problems.
The print server
● Attach the printer to the HP JetDirect 175X and attach the
HP JetDirect 175X to the network.
● Press the print server Test button to print a configuration
page. See

● Review the page for status and error messages. Verify that
network and HP JetDirect settings are correct for your
