This Appendix provides basic Safety Information on your Speed
Touch  Home.
Prior to using the STHome, read this Appendix carefully.

Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the product.

Climatic conditions
The STHome equipment is intended for:
D InĆhouse stationary desktop use; the maximum ambient
temperature may not exceed 40ºC (104ºF).
D It must not be mounted in a location exposed to direct or
excessive solar and/or heat radiation.
D It must not be exposed to heat trap conditions and must
not be subjected to water or condensation.
D It must be installed in a Pollution Degree 2 environment.

Cleaning
Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not
use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for
cleaning.

Water and moisture
Do not use this product near water, for example, near a bathtub,
wash bowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement or near
a swimming pool.

Power supply adapter
The STHome comes with a portable power supply adapter.
Due to the special characteristics of the output of the
class II AC adaptor, only use the models or equivalent listed in
the power adapter table in Appendix B.
