ULTIMETER
This chapter describes the multimeter
functionalities in the GDS‐122. Functionalities
includes three major items (Voltage, Current,
Impedance) and three additional items (Diode,
Continuity, Capacitance). The current
measurement and capacitance measurement use
extension modules to deal with large current and
small capacitance, respectively. Delta
measurement and automatic range switching
features offer flexibility and convenience.

Activating the Multimeter
Panel operations 1. Press the power switch. The
welcome screen with the corporate
logo appears on the display.
2. To adjust display brightness, use
the switch on the side: up (bright)
or down (dark).
3. Press any key (example: MENU
key) to activate the display. The
battery icon at the top left corner of
the display shows the battery level.

4. Press A (current), V (voltage), or R
(impedance, diode, continuity,
capacitance) switch to proceed. A
warning message might appear to
remind you of correct connections.

and resume the measurement.
