TcpIp: terminal in Server mode not reconnecting after disconnect
In some situations where the terminal was configured as a Server, it did not reconnect to the host
(client) after a disconnection occurred. In this release, the Server terminal will attempt to
reconnect whenever the host disconnects.
Read Card State: should return to default State0 when previous
transaction’s closing state doesn’t exist
There was a situation where the Next State in the Function Command, received from the host,
didn’t exist. For subsequent transactions, the terminal would automatically cancel the
transaction as soon as a card was inserted. This release automatically resets the next state to the
default Read Card State0 whenever this situation occurs.
Dispenser: sends erroneous ‘missing cassettes’ status for a 2-hopper
unit
When the terminal was configured with a 2-hopper dispenser, it sent an erroneous solicited status
for “missing cassettes’ 3 and 4. This release only sends a solicited status if cassettes 1 and/or 2
are not present.
Currency Codes: added missing codes
Management Functions has an option in Terminal Configuration, Cash Dispenser Setup called
Configure Cassettes. For each cassette, there is a setting for Currency Code. This release added
a code for each of the currencies listed in ISO 4217.
Configuration Summary: add the ‘Journal Settings’ to the report
Management Functions has an option in Terminal Status called Display Configuration Summary.
The ‘Journal Settings’ have been added to the summary.
State Table: removed States from default file
When the next Full Release (EXE) is installed by Production, the default state file will not
included any downloaded states in the State Table.
Base Volume: change default setting to “Highest”
When the next Full Release (EXE) is created for Production installation, the Management
Function option in Terminal Configuration, Audio Setup, General Settings called Base Volume
will be set to “Highest”.
