The Partial Dispense Status byte will be ‘5’ for cassette out messages sent to the host. However,
when the last cassette goes to a cassette out situation, the status byte will be ‘3’.
Function Command (FC) sent by host not received at terminal
There was a situation where the terminal didn’t receive the transaction replies from the host
because the host sent two (2) function commands inside one (1) TcpIp packet. The terminal will
now separate each host message from the TcpIp packet. If a message spans packets, the ATM
will start a 3 minute timer waiting for the next packet. If the rest of the message is not received in
the 3 minutes, then the ATM will discard the portion of the message already received.
Subsequent function commands will be processed correctly.
TcpIP: terminal doesn’t reconnect after host closes connection
There were situations where the host closed the TcpIp connection (inactivity timer, etc.) and the
terminal didn’t attempt to reconnect. This release addresses that issue.
