Introduction
This document describes the changes to the RL5000/FT5000 XP 1.0.22 software version for
Prism.
Platforms Affected

The following load files are included with this release:
• Prism5K-1_0_22_0.tlf – Update load for Field Upgrades
• Prism5K-1_0_22_0_Lockdown.tlf – Update load for Field Upgrades
Important: The TLF installer requires with Prism5K 1.00.00.18 or higher loaded prior to
installing. Lockdown upgrade should only be installed on a lockdown system.

Description of Changes
Partial Dispense Status byte in Dispenser solicited status
The solicited status message sent to the host for the dispenser contains a Partial Dispense Status
(byte 3). An option via Management Functions in Cash Dispenser Setup; General Settings called
Select Partial Dispense Status determines the value of this byte for cassette low and out
situations. This release changed the descriptions of the available settings, as follows:
Return’5’ Out (default)
The Partial Dispense Status byte will always be ‘5’ for cassette out messages sent to the host.
Return ‘3’ Out
The Partial Dispense Status byte will always be ‘3’ for cassette out messages sent to the host.
Return “5’ for Out except ‘3’ when all cassettes are Out
