ActiveSync Problems
Problem

ActiveSync operation
cannot be performed
or connected.
Solution
•
Make sure the mini USB cable is
connected securely.
•
Make sure you have installed the
ActiveSync software
found on the
Companion CD that came with
your phone.
•
Make sure the settings are correct
in
File Menu > Connection
Settings... in the Microsoft
ActiveSync window on your
desktop computer.
•
Chapter 7 discusses ActiveSync.
If still not working, try to uninstall
the ActiveSync software (using
Control Panel on your desktop
computer), then reinstall.
