The following table shows some of the abbreviations that might be
displayed in the Contacts list and their meanings.
Abbreviation Meaning
w Work phone
w2 Second work phone
wfx Work facsimile
h Home phone
h2 Second home phone
m Mobile phone
pgr Pager
car Car phone
txt Text message number
e E-mail address
e2 Second E-mail address
e3 Third E-mail address
web Web page
To call a contact using the default number:
1. Select Contacts from the Start menu, or press the Right
Softkey (“Contacts”) from the Home screen. The list of
Contacts will appear.
2. Select the contact you want to call.
3. Press the Talk button. Your Smartphone will dial the
contact's default phone number. The abbreviation for
this number appears to the right of the contact name.
