The descriptions included in this section give a brief overview of the functions and
features of the basic hardware.

2002N MODCELL Multiloop Processor - Flush Mount

The instrument CPU is based on the 16 MHZ 68302 microprocessor. An identity module
(2001P) provides the functionality that gives the instrument the capability to execute a

The Electrical Code 12 form of the MODCELL 2002NZ Controller complies with the
requirements of European Union (EU) directives when connected to ac [mains] power and
installed in accordance with the instructions in Sections 2, 3, and 4. This compliance
includes all modules described in Sections 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5, and listed in Table 2-1.

**Code 21 - FM Approved and CSA Certified

The Electrical Code 21 form of the MODCELL 2002NZ Controller is Factory Mutual (FM)
Approved and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Certified for installation in Class I,
Division 2, Groups A, B, C or D Hazardous (Classified) locations. CAUTION: This
Approval/Certification ONLY includes modules listed in 92902-98 (back of book).
