Setting the Mix Ratios:
Catalyst / Hardener levels can be adjusted by moving the secondary pump along the
ratio arms connected to the main resin pump using the hand wheels.
1. Open side Door.
2. Turn the two hand wheels simultaneously until secondary pump is in required
position as indicated on ratio arm. Ensure top and bottom readings are identical.
3. Recirculate machine to ensure that the pump is correctly primed.
4. Perform a Ratio Check by taking a sample of both material (resin & hardener) from
the return lines.
a. Pull the two material return lines from their respective containers and
holding them over catch containers, put the unit in recirculation.
b. After a second or two place the sample container under the two return
lines at the same time and collect a sample of both materials.
c. Press Stop to cancel the recirculation
d. Weigh the two samples and determine ratio
e. If necessary adjust ratio and repeat ratio check
5. If required, carry out a timed gel test, by injecting approximately 200cc of resin into a
cup.
