This allows the card and the drive to be fully configured. A PC configurator could be connected either when
it is connected to a PLC or there is the LocalBus.

1.6. WHAT YOU CAN DO
If you want to use the DGFC only as DeviceNet interface (you don’t want to use Win+Drive and/or Bricks
programming) you can read only the next 3 chapters. In all the other cases you can skip only chapter 3.
1.1. HARDWARE CONFIGURATION
If you want to use the DGFC for a DeviceNet network, the DGFC needs an optional card called DNET. Remem-
ber that the DGF card is a technology card with its own commuhication protocol.
