Help program tank calculation
With the help program "Tank Calculation“
linearisation curves to different tank forms
can be calculated. The calculated
curves can be exported and saved as
text file (*.txt).
There are two possibilities to start "Tank
Calculation“:
The first is to start "Tank Calculation“
independent of VVO. Click to the sym-
bol " Tank Calculation “ in the pro-
gram menu.
The second possibility is to start
"Tank Calculation“ with running VVO.
Click in the menu bar to
Instrument
data , then to Linearisation curves .
In the opening window "Linearisation“
you choose out of the 32 "User pro-
grammable curve“ the curve you
want to edit (e.g. linearisation table 1)
and click to Edit . In the opening window
"Linearisation - User programmable
curve“, you click to
Calculate . Then you
will see the window "Tank calculation“
(you are now in the program "Tank
Calculation“).
Procedure of the curve calculation with
the examples of a "Cylindrical tank“.
Choose on the left side on top the vessel
type and the unit (e.g. m). Then enter
the wall thickness and if you have an
inclined tank, the inclination angle. Then
define sections A, B and C of the vessel
(choose the form under A and C, enter
dimensions under B). Then click to
Calculate .
