7 Set-up of a VBUS-radar sensor VEGAPULS 81F
7.1 Configure sensor
Connect the sensor by means of
VEGACONNECT 2 to the PC (as de-
scribed under chapter "3 Instrument
connection“). Then start VVO. When the
sensor had been connected with al-
ready started VVO, push the function
key
F8 on the PC. Then your monitor
should show the following picture (if you
have not connected VEGACONNECT 2
directly to the sensor but to the VBUS-
line, the picture is different). To config-
ure the sensor, first of all click to
C
onfiguration, then to Measuring sys-
tem.
In this window the text field shows the serial
number and the type designation of the sen-
sor (if you do not have connected VEGA-
CONNECT 2 directly to the sensor but to the
VBUS-line, all sensors appear in this field
which are connected to the VBUS). Below the
text field is the field with the measurement
loop designation (Sensor-TAG) which can be
modified by you. Click to
Save, when you
have modified the measurement loop desig-
nation. With
Quit you return to the window
"VEGA Visual Operating“.
