General VVO-functions
Backup
With this function you can make additional
backups of the connected instruments.
These backups are not influenced by modifi-
cations of the connected instruments. If you
want to restore a previous instrument con-
figuration, you can use such a backup.
When you have clicked to
Backup and
e.g. to
Signal conditioning instruments,
this window appears. Under
Backup to
you see in which directory the safety file
will be saved (
backup). If you want to
copy the safety file to another directory,
click to the arrow beside
c:. In the open-
ing list field you can choose another
subdirectory on your hard drive or an-
other drive (e.g. disk drive a:), where
you can save the safety file. The file
name of the backup (
MET01.M01) is
given. Further backups are continuously
numbered (
MET01.M02...MET01.M03
etc.). In deviation you can determine that
the continuous backups are provided
with another figure as ending. Click to
Edit
counter and enter in the new window the
requested figure (max. 99).
