What’s New in Versions
2.15 and 2.16?
The following table describes the sections updated to reflect the new and modified
features on both XFile Versions 2.15 and 2.16 (compared to XFile Version 2.14).
In the user manual, the icon
has been added on left margin to highlight
information on new and updated features.

Description
Session Configuration - Tab 7 – XML: possibility to define
a default rendered playlist filename format string.
Session Configuration - Tab 8 – User Parameters: A new
setting allows to use the filename as clipname for
imported files that do not have a clipname.
Session Configuration - Tab 8 – User Parameters: A new
setting allows to update metadata of all the files with the
same IDmaterial and file format at once.
Edit Clip module: The File Info Tab and the Clipname –
Keywords Tab display the list of all the files in which the
metadata will be saved if they are edited from the open
file.
Edit Clip module: The IN – OUT Tab displays audio
vumeters for the open clip and allows to select the audio
tracks to monitor.
Importing Files from Third Party Systems: supported file
formats have been added.
XFile can work with Windows 7 or with Windows 2088 (32
bits).
Updated capacity for the XF2 drives.
