To set the CPU performance, select the CPU speed tab. Selecting a
higher processor speed consumes more battery power; conversely,
selecting a lower processor speed conserves battery power. “Auto”
controls CPU speed automatically, depending upon the device
status.

Tap OK to change the setting.
Setting memory
Memory for your Toshiba Pocket PC e830 is managed automatically, but
you can adjust the memory usage on your Toshiba Pocket PC e830 as
well as check the amount of free memory space left on your storage card.
If you select more data storing memory, there will be less program running
memory available; conversely, if you select more program running mem-
ory, there will be less data storing memory available.
Changing memory allocation
1.
Tap
and then Settings. On the System tab, tap Memory to
display the Memory setting screen.

Drag the knob left to right to adjust the memory allocation between
Storage and Program.
3.
When finished, tap OK to return to the System tab screen.
