Local Device
Tap Local Device on the Options menu to display the Device Information
screen for Local Device.
To change the name of the device, enter a new name in the Device Name
box and tap OK. The device name can be a maximum of 248 alphanu-
meric characters. If the device name exceeds 248 alphanumeric charac-
ters, an error message appears.
Function List
Tap Function List on the Options menu to display the Function List
screen of Local Device. You can see the list of Bluetooth functions and
current status of them visual. You can also change the setting to disable
or enable this feature.
Version Information
Tap About on the Options menu to display the version information of
Bluetooth Settings.
Search for Wireless Devices
Your Toshiba Pocket PC e830W can display Bluetooth devices graphi-
cally. This utility searches nearby discoverable Bluetooth devices and dis-
plays them.
By tapping the center of the circle, the utility begins searching for Blue-
tooth devices. When you tap the Bluetooth icon
, the device information
is displayed.
You can also launch Bluetooth Settings to register the selected Bluetooth
device by tapping then dragging the Bluetooth icon
to the center of the
Pocket PC icon.
Starting Search for Wireless Devices
Tap the Bluetooth icon on Today screen, and select Search for Wire-
less Devices from the pop-up menu.
