Unpacking
z To scan or copy a
document, the
switch must be in
the unlock
position. If the
machine is not
being used for a
long period of
time, or being
moved, push the
switch to the lock
position (
).
1 ¾ Remove the shipping tape from
the front, back and sides of the
machine.

¾ Remove the label completely
from the scanner module by
pulling it straight out, away from
the unit.
Make sure that the scan lock has
been moved to the unlock
position (
) .

¾ Pull open the paper tray and
remove the packing material from
the tray.
