Pause
The Pause feature enters a 1.5 second delay in a dialing sequence
on an external line. This is often required for signaling remote
devices, such as answering machines, or when reaching through to
PBX features or host systems.
You can program more than one pause in an external autodial or
speed dial sequence.
The Pause symbol (
›
) uses one of the 24 spaces in a dialing
sequence.
For pulse dialing,
•
inserts a 1.5 second pause into the dialing
sequence.
Tip -
If your Norstar system is connected to a
private branch exchange (PBX), program Link onto
a memory button for one-touch access.
