8. Connect the battery cable to the battery connector on the left
battery tray. Repeat for the right battery tray (see Figure 10).

9. Repeat Steps 5 through 8 to install the battery trays in each
EBM chassis.

Only qualified service personnel (such as a licensed electrician) should perform the
electrical installation. Risk of electrical shock.
The Powerware 5140 requires a dedicated branch circuit that meets the
following requirements:
: 40A circuit with short circuit and overcurrent protection
: 200-240 Vac
: Single-phase
: 50/60 Hz
: Flexible metal conduit is recommended for ease of service and
maintenance
