Touch [LDAP Search] key.
When [ON] is selected for [User authentication] in the key operator mode, the user authenti-
cation screen is displayed.
→ Go to Step 6.
When [OFF] is selected for [User authentication] in the key operator mode, if a successful
attempt to access the LDAP server has been made, the [LDAP search (simple)] screen is
displayed.
→ Go to Step 9.
z For setting [User authentication], confirm with the copier's administrator.

Enter the User ID for the user account (E.K.C.) using the ten-keys on the control panel and
press [FIX] or touch [User Name] key and input the user name on the [Data Input] screen.
z Confirm the User ID and User Name with the system administrator or network administrator.
z Only half-width alphanumeric characters can be used for user names.

Touch [Password] key and enter the password on the [Data Input] screen.

Touch the [OK] key.
→ When the LDAP server is successfully accessed, the [LDAP search (simple)] screen is dis-
played.
