Using the FLASH Utilización del FLASH
✤ The FLASH works in CAMERA mode only.
✤ When power is supplied, FLASH mode is set to Auto. When you
change FLASH modes, an icon that shows the current FLASH
mode will be displayed on the LCD screen.
✤ Using a flash enables the user to take bright pictures in dark
circumstances, such as nighttime shooting and in shaded areas.
Notes
■ By setting the Power Switch to CAMERA
Mode after placing the CAMERA side of the
Lens Body Block to the forward position, the
FLASH will automatically open according to
the lighting conditions.
■ To close the FLASH, push the FLASH cover
until it clicks.
■ The Flash does not function in CONTINUOUS
SHOT mode or CAMCORDER Mode.
■ The battery power will be consumed faster with repeated use of
the flash.
■ To use the flash again, wait until the flash is recharged
(5 to 7 seconds).

✤ Al suministrar alimentación eléctrica, la modalidad FLASH se ajus-
ta en Auto. Cuando se cambian los modos FLASH, aparecerá en
la pantalla LCD un icono que muestra la modalidad actual de
FLASH.
✤ Con el flash el usuario puede capturar imágenes en situaciones de
oscuridad, durante la noche o en áreas en sombra.
Notas
■ Al ajustar el interruptor de encendido en la
modalidad CAMERA después de colocar el
lado de CAMERA del bloque de la carcasa
del objetivo a la posición adelante, el FLASH
se abrirá automáticamente según las
condiciones de luz.
■ Para cerrar el FLASH, presione la cubierta
del FLASH hasta que emita un clic.
■ El Flash no funciona en la modalidad
CONTINUOUS SHOT (disparo continuo) ni
en la modalidad CAMCORDER.
■ La carga de la batería se consumirá más rápidamente con el uso
repetido del flash.
■ Para utilizar el flash de nuevo, espere hasta que se recargue
(entre 5 y 7 segundos).
