Applications: HotSync®
The Primary PC Setup screen displays:
The information required for this screen is located by selecting the TCP/IP button
on the Network tab of the HotSync Manager on the machine you are hotsyncing to.
Copy down the Primary PC Name, Primary PC address, and the Subnet mask, and
enter that information manually on the above screen. Refer to
on page 9-9 for details on how to access the Network tab.
Note: If the Subnet Mask box on your PC is empty, you do not need to
enter anything in that section on your terminal.

Tap OK.

Tap Connection Setup on the Option menu and select:
a. Spectrum24 for a SPT 174x terminal
b. Merlin for a SPT 1733 (CDPD) terminal — or —
c. GSM Modem for a SPT 1734 terminal
Performing a Spectrum24 HotSync
Note: This function is available on SPT 174x terminals only.
To perform a HotSync via the Spectrum24 wireless LAN:
1.
Ensure the terminal has been properly configured for use. Refer to
on page 9-18 for details.
2.
Select the HotSync application from the main application screen.
3.
Tap Modem, and tap Select Service to display the Network Preference Screen.
