Activating/deactivating the in range beep
If the in range beep is switched on, it is sounded when a
handset that was too far from the base station moves
back into range. You can switch the in range beep on or off
(factory default: off).

Baby alarm
If this function is switched on, an internal call is made to
a second handset if noise above a specified volume is de-
tected. An internal call is conducted with the baby alarm
handset when the call is answered. If the call is not an-
swered, or if you have already hung up, a new baby alarm
call is set up as soon as the volume exceeds the set level.
The baby alarm feature is not available in combination with
a telephone lock.

Please switch off all warning beeps before using
the baby alarm. When using your handset as a
baby alarm, we recommend that you only oper-
ate it with fully charged batteries and not while
it is standing in the charging unit.
