Individual base station settings
You can program your Gigaset 2011 to suit your own indi-
vidual requirements. The settings are made from a regis-
tered handset.
Switching the base station ringer off and setting the ringer volume
It is possible to define whether the ringers should be sig-
nalled at the base station or only on the handset. You can
set the ringer volume for the ringer at the base station.
There are seven volume levels available:
The factory default is level 6 (loud/high).

Level 0 = Switch off base station ringer.
Calls will only be signalled on the
handset.
Level 1 ... Level 6 = Ringer volume low ... high
It is also possible to set the ringer volume on the
handset (➔ page 53).
.t Service Activate the Service menu item.

Start setting procedure. The ringer setting is sounded.
The set volume is indicated on the display:

u Press the digit for the desired volume (1 to 6) or 0 to
switch the ringer off and save the setting.
(Example: ringer volume 6
