• Press channel key 1 to set the audio of the selected time as the Digital
Deterrent file.
• If the duration exceeds 5 seconds, the following warning message will be
shown:
Warning!!
Exceed the limitation (5 seconds)!
Only the first 5 seconds data
is used to create digital deterrent file

• Press ENTER to set the first 5 seconds audio as the Digital Deterrent file;
or press ESC to abort.
5.7 Database Setup
The menu displays information regarding internal and external disks. In the
Main menu, move the cursor to and press ENTER. The
following menu is displayed.

NOTE:
If the hard disk detected has failed, the message “HDD fail” will
display.
NOTE:
The information of the internal / external HDD can be retrieved
with the function when the DVR is monitored via the Central
Management System (CMS) software. Please refer to the CMS user’s
manual for more details.
5.7.1 Total / Free Size of HDD
The Total Size of HDD shows the total capacity of the HDD that has been
added into database. The Free Size of HDD indicates the free space left for
recording onto the HDD in database. The information is ” read-only.”
