The

Intelligent

Orchestrator

installer

will

detect

that

Tivoli

Intelligent

Orchestrator

is

already

installed,

and

will

install

only

agent

manager.

An

error

occurs

when

running

the

rpm

-qa

command

after

the

DB2

Universal

Database,

IBM

Tivoli

Directory

Server,

and

WebSphere

Application

Server

prerequisites

are

installed

on

Linux

After

successfully

installing

the

Tivoli

Intelligent

Orchestrator

prerequisites

on

Linux,

the

following

error

might

occur

when

running

the

rpm

-qa

command.

This

command

queries

the

packages

that

are

installed

on

the

RedHat

Advanced

Server.

error:

db4

error(-30989)

from

dbcursor->c_get:

DB_PAGE_NOTFOUND:

Requested

page

not

found

Cause

This

is

a

known

problem

for

RedHat

Enterprise

Linux

version

3.

workaround

Solution

Run

the

following

command

first,

to

remove

the

cache

files

where

the

page

is

not

found:

rm

-f

/var/lib/rpm/__db*

The

cache

will

be

re-created

as

needed.

Run

the

rpm

-qa

command

afterwards,

to

obtain

a

complete

listing

of

installed

packages

on

the

RedHat

Advanced

Server,

without

returning

errors.

Cause

The

LDAP

server

might

be

down.

Solution

1

Run

the

ibmdirctl

command

to

check

the

status

of

the

LDAP

server.

From

LDAP_install_directory\appsrv\bin

,

run

the

ibmdirctl

command

using

the

following

syntax:

ibmdirctl

-D

username

-w

password

status

The

returned

value

is

ibmslapd

process

is

running

when

the

server

is

running.

If

the

system

does

not

confirm

that

the

process

is

running,

start

the

server.

To

start

the

server,

run

ibmdirctl

again

and

use

the

following

syntax:

ibmdirctl

-D

username

-w

password

start
