17 Playback
The camera offers various ways to start in-camera playback from the recording medium:
► Using the PLAY button on MVF-2
► Using user button 3 in combination with the Function Button FN
► Using a user button assigned with playback
► Using the Wireless Control Unit WCU-4
► Using the Web Remote (Beta Version)
► Using apps communicating with the camera through the Camera Access Protocol (CAP)
Starting Playback Using the PLAY Button on MVF-2

1. Press and hold the PLAY button (1) for one second
to start playback.
The camera goes into playback mode with the last
recorded clip paused at start.
2. You may toggle between play and pause by briefly
pressing the PLAY button again.
3. To exit playback press the PLAY button for one
second.
Playback Screen & Controls
When starting playback, the camera loads the last recorded clip (paused on the first frame). The
playback screen offers the following controls:

options Loads the previous clip from the cliplist.
Select another clip for playback from a list of all clips on the recording medium.
Loads the next clip from the cliplist.
Shows clip name, timecode and playback progress bar of the selected clip.
Allows setting the clip end action.
6 play/pause Toggles between play and pause. Play/pause can also be toggled by pressing the PLAY button on the
MVF-2 or by pressing the JOGWHEEL . The JOGWHEEL can also be used to shuttle through a clip.
While playback is paused, use the JOGWHEEL to shuttle through the clip frame by frame. While play-
ing back, use the JOGWHEEL to increase or decrease the playback speed up to 512x forwards or
backwards.
