25.1 White Radio Configuration
The camera contains a radio unit that allows for wireless lens
control, lens data communication and remote control of basic
camera functions in combination with the ARRI Wireless Com-
pact Unit WCU-4 or ARRI Single Axis Unit SXU-1. The radio sys-
tem is called white radio. The white radio antenna connector is
located at the camera rear (1).
In order to assume a correct wireless operation, please ensure
that the white radio antenna is installed correctly on the camera.

Radio Power
► Select
MENU > Electronic Control System (ECS) > Radio > Power
and set white radio power on or off. Per factory default, radio power is disabled.
Active white radio is indicated through the WRS (Wireless Remote System) icon
displayed on the HOME screen as well as in the status info of the viewfinder and
the SDI outputs.
Additional radio information is displayed in two status entries in the white radio submenu:

MENU > Electronic Control System (ECS) > Radio > Status
shows the current status of the white
radio module:
Off
(white radio disabled)
Init
(white radio initializing)
Ready
(white radio initialized and ready to be used)
Blocked
(selected white radio channel is already used by another camera on set)

MENU > Electronic Control System (ECS) > Radio > Connected Devices
displays the amount of
hand units connected to the camera. Up to three hand units can connect to one camera in parallel.
White Radio Channel
The white radio module offers 14 channels to choose from.
► Select

and set the white radio
channel:
