WAYPOINT NAVIGATION
HOW TO SAVE A WAYPOINT
Waypoints are locations on the earth’s surface that you
wish to go or return to. Waypoints are useful for marking
shipwrecks, hot fishing or hunting spots, hiking trails,
and other locations. Storing waypoints in the AccuNav
Sport's memory makes it easy to return to any point in
the world by simply pressing a few buttons. The AccuNav
Sport can store up to 200 waypoints. You can store your
present position as a waypoint or enter latitude/longitude
positions as waypoint locations.
To save your present position as waypoint, simply press
the WPT key. The screen shown below appears. Now
press the F6 (WPT QUICK SAVE) key again. The
AccuNav Sport™ takes your present position and as-
signs the first available waypoint number to it.
