Scan Settings Menu
Select Settings > General Settings > Scan Settings to customize various scanning settings.

Confirm Recipient On
Off
Select On to check the recipients
before scanning an original
Email Server
Server Settings Off No email server set
POP before SMTP Authenticates on a POP3 receiving
email server before sending the email.
SMTP-AUTH Authenticates on the outgoing SMTP
server when sending the email. The
mail server must support SMTP
authorization.
Connection Check — Checks the connection to the email
server
Scan Options
Confirm Before Ejecting
Scanned Document On
Off
Selects whether to hold the ejected
original and display a removal
confirmation screen after scanning
Correct Skewed Image On
Off
Automatically corrects and saves
scanned images that are skewed.
Should only be enabled if the
Original
Size or Scan Size settings have been
set to Auto Detect .
Document Feed Adjustment -1.00 to 1.00 Adjusts the length of the printed image
if it is different from the scanned
original. Select
- to reduce the length
of the printout, or + to increase the
length. Differences in length may
occur due to the type of paper.
