Camcorder operation when using
network client mode
The following functions are enabled during
network client mode operation. Use the
hardware switches and buttons to control
the camcorder. Operation from the menu is
not supported.
• Zoom
• Focusing
• Streaming volume adjustment (only the
AUDIO LEVEL dial of the XLR handle
unit is enabled)
• Exposure adjustment (iris, ISO
sensitivity/gain, and shutter speed)
• White balance
Streaming on the CCM is started/stopped
by CCM operation. For details, refer to the
operating instructions of the CCM.
For details about XDCAM air operations,
refer to the documentation for XDCAM air.

Stop recording, if currently
recording.
(Network client mode cannot be
stopped while recording.)

Press one of the following.
• MENU button
• ASSIGN button assigned with the
network client mode start/stop
function

Select [YES] on the confirmation
screen.
Network client mode stops.
A CCM root certificate is required to
connect to a CCM or to XDCAM air. The
camcorder contains a built-in CCM root
certificate, which can also be updated.
To update the CCM root certificate, save
the certificate on a memory card and then
import the certificate from the memory
card.

Write the CCM root certificate to a
memory card.
Write the certificate in PEM format with
a “CCM_certification.pem” file name to
the root directory of the memory card.

Insert the memory card with the
CCM root certificate into memory
card slot A of the camcorder.

Press the MENU button.

(NETWORK SET)

[NETWORK CLIENT MODE]
t
[CCM CERTIFICATE]
t
[OK].
• The CCM root certificate starts
importing.
• The certificate is imported
successfully when “Completed.”
appears. Select [OK] to dismiss the
screen.

• Do not eject the memory card while a certificate
is being imported.
