TC RUN REC RUN , FREE RUN Sets how the timecode advances.
REC RUN: Advances the timecode only
during recording. Select this setting to record
the timecode sequentially from the last
timecode of the previous recording.
• Even if the timecode advances in [REC
RUN] mode, the timecode may not be
recorded sequentially in the following
cases:
– When the recording format is changed.
– When the memory card is removed.
FREE RUN: Advances the timecode regardless
of operation of your camcorder.
TC MAKE PRESET ,
REGENERATE
Sets how the timecode continues.
PRESET: Records a preset set timecode on the
memory card.
REGENERATE: Reads the last recorded
timecode from the memory card, and starts
recording with a consecutive timecode.
• The timecode advances in [REC RUN]
mode, regardless of the setting of [TC
RUN].
UB TIME REC OFF , ON Sets whether to save the actual time in user bit
code.
• The last 2 digits are fixed to “00” when it is
set to [ON].
